This is the fourth blog I've set up. The set-up for this one went smoothly, but that smoothness is partly due to lessons learned previously.
Just over a year ago, on the morning of departure for a three- week-long cycling trip to Vietnam, I was building a blog so that I could post from the trip using my iPod (a task I should not have left to the last minute).
I was connecting to Blogger from my laptop, then tried to write the first blog from my mobile device. I was repeatedly told by Blogger to change my password. So I changed it, and changed it again. I would write it down, then modify my new one. I changed it over and over, until I realized that I was trying to access one program from two devices.
At the same time, the taxi arrived, my family bustled around, and they trundled out with the luggage. They were threatening to leave without me as I was sending the freshly minted link to friends and I was shutting down my laptop.
I'm happy to report that I was successful in setting up the blog , and posting something new every day from Vietnam. The trip, and the blog were wonderful successes!
I learned how simple it is to blog, but I need to remember to set up a new blog one step at a time.
